The Apartheid-Free Community of Western Massachusetts is a coalition of allied communities who pledge to work together to build a world where:

 This universal moral code is tragically unmet in the reality faced by the Palestinian people.  For decades, they have endured Israeli settler colonialism and occupation; a system of oppression enforced through racist and discriminatory legal regimes, forced displacement, blockades and movement restrictions, and systematic human rights abuses.
      These ongoing injustices constitute the Crime of Apartheid, according to the international human rights community, and are the historical factors that lead to the ongoing genocide in Gaza. These crimes against humanity must end. Therefore;
    We commit to ending apartheid everywhere, and in doing so, we foster more resilient and inclusive communities. We create a local environment where hate is actively challenged by pledging to oppose all forms of discrimination, including antisemitism and Islamophobia. We are building a world free from apartheid, starting with concrete action in our own communities: workplaces, faith congregations, and municipalities.

Palestinians are calling on the global community to join their struggle for liberation. In response, the Apartheid-Free Communities coalition calls on states, cities, businesses, universities, unions, faith communities, and other organizations to become Apartheid-Free. Apartheid-Free Western MA is heeding the call by engaging individuals in our communities to stand in solidarity against all forms of oppression and discrimination.
