The Traprock Center for Peace and Justice with its Apartheid-Free Western Mass. project are pleased that Franklin County will be a stop on a Boston to New York City book tour organized by the Palestinian owned Interlink publishing company based in Northampton.
The new work, “Wired to Steal: Zionism and the Shaping of the Western Mind,” uses history, behavioral neuroscience and investigative narrative to examine how ruling classes in settler colonial projects “exploit human vulnerability to fear and social belonging in order to turn communities against others, justify mass violence, and conceal theft as self-defense.”

Ilan Pappé is a renowned historian on Israel/Palestine and author of more than twenty books. A professor of history at the Institute of Arab and Islamic studies, he is Director of the European Centre for Palestine Studies at the Universiaty of Exeter. He is coming for this tour from the UK, joining Yoav Litvin from Washington State to present their book together, with local stops in Brattleboro, Greenfield and Amherst.
