NAKBA DAY STANDOUT: 11-noon GREENFIELD COMMON
On May 13, Western Mass will mark the day Palestinians call “the Nakba”, meaning “catastrophe,” that started on May 15, 1948, when Israel declared itself a state, based on a UN resolution.
Franklin County Justice for Palestine wants all peoples to have a safe place to live; one state should not exist at the expense of another state or people.
The stand-out this year is co-sponsored by Code Pink and Traprock Center for Peace and Justice.
